Project Description:
The west of Ahvaz's Sewage treatment plant with 43461 cubic meter per day capacity is for 200,000 population Equivalents. Due to various reasons, previous structures and plant's equipment have been destroyed and only one of the two lines is exploiting. Concrete ponds and treatment plant's facilities need to reconstruction, repairing or replacement. Furthermore the treatment plant's capacity in different phases should increase by constructing new unites and lead to 174200 cubic meter per day in 871000 population Equivalents.
Ahvaz Water and Sewage Company held the tender under EPCF method( Engineering Services, providing goods, construction and Financial provision) In order to constructing new unites and reconstruction old unites,. Various cooperation groups have been participated in this tender and eventually NasreMisagh- Sazabpardazan- Abiran cooperation group has been won by presenting the best technical and financial recommendation ( offer)
The project's sponsor was the BCEG Chinese firm. This sponsor has provided about 85 percent of project cost and 15 percent remaining had been supplied by interior resources.
The project's credit resources would be supply through credit line settlement between central banks of Iran and China by two Iranian and Chinese agent banks which have been introducing according to physical progress.
