Khouzestan's super heavy Crude Oil refinery,by 180000 barrel heavy Crude Oil in the first phase , to refinery the majority part of gained crude oil of Azadegan, Yadavaran and Jofeir will construct , and its products would be including Gas ,petrol, oil, jet fuel ,coke and Sulfur.
The studies of water provision of Khouzestan's super heavy Crude Oil refinery has been conducted by Sazabpardazan Consulting Engineering Company. The water demand of refinery including for washing equipment, drinking , diffuser unit, cooling tower and distilled water package which total refinery water requirement would be reached at 1650 cubic meter per hour. There are two considerable choice to supply this amount of water with proper quality from current water resources.
1/ Take water of Karun river
2/ Based on conducted studies and by attention to the low distance between refinery complex and the Marred channel as well as to pumping station construction next to the river with comparison to river and No need for land acquisition to pipe line construction, water supplying of refinery has been conducted via Marred channel
To preventing surface and groundwater resources pollution by sewage and industrial wastewater of this refinery, the entire wastewater producer processes identify and the quantity and quality values have been estimated and treatment plant designing will be implemented by considering to these quantity and quality values.
In order to reducing wastewater discharge in various units , if outlet sewage has conditions, will enter to cooling system and utilizing as its feed.therefore,330 of 726 cubic meter per hour of water demand will supply, through this way, to make up cooling systems water, as well as, refined hygienic wastewater will utilize to irrigate green space.
