By considering to extinction of the sturgeon fish, in Caspian sea, cultivating these kind of fishes could be one of the profitable industry in the field of fisheries. Khuzestan province with by having surface resources such as rivers, dams, and irrigation networks otherwise having optimal weather and desirable physical and chemical quality and without any pollutant in the north of Tehran, creating potentially talent and unique to develop this industry.
Therefore, in 1386, the investigation of water resources identification studies in order to cultivating sturgeon fishes have conducted. In this study the water region of province have divided to 5 sub catchment basin namely Dez,Karkhe, Karun, Marun and Zoreh and facilities and resources has been investigated. Eventually 18 suitable points in the north and east of Khuzestan province, has been selected. produce capacity of these areas is about 13 thousand tone meat and 200 tone caviar.
