The Mahshahr irrigation and drainage network is in the breadth with 10 thousand hector including 16 main and sub drainage which collect the drain water of lands and drain into Shadegan wetland by utilizing two pumping stations with totally 5 cubic meter per second. The purposes of executing this plan are including in the below:
Constructing suitable drainages owing to preventing and decreasing soil salinity and lands water suffusion
Constructing evaporated ponds, water and drainage channels dredge for controlling storm water pollution
Utilizing biological methods instead of chemical poisons
Constantly monitoring of the plan's environment
Agriculture development and create carrier opportunities in the region
