The purpose of the implementation of collection and maintenance of considerable annual precipitation in the region (approximately 635 mm per year), artificial nutrition of groundwater and control and inhibition of winter and spring floods, and in addition to the control and production sediments and preventing them from entering Karun River and behind Reservoir dam of construction .
