The Ravand River, due to crossing from inside Islamabad Gharb county, has a special importance. Lack of sewerage network caused in different areas, sewage areas the residential cause of the public slope of the region to flow to the river. This river has become unfavorable in the city.
Also, growing different plants inside the river bed and the accumulation of waste and sediments reduced the flow capacity. For this purpose, Kermanshah Province regional water company has carried out an emergency plan to restoration the Ravand River in the city with a length of about 7 kilometers.
